This type of window is especially popular in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia. The casement window provides better protection against wind and rain which push the frame tight against the jamb thus improving the insulation. Casement windows open outwards for light, fresh air and side breezes. The windows' are made of triple-layered glue-laminated timber.

NORDIC windows are manufactured from 68 mm wide profile. Operable sashes can be double or triple glazed with units up to 32 mm wide and fixed parts with units up to 44 mm.

Specifications

NORDIC windows have good thermal values and sound insulation. The heat conductivity coefficient of a standard double glazed window filled with argon is 1.5 W/ m2K. The same window when triple glazed reaches a U value of 1.1 W/m2K or even better (depending on the glass chosen). The vents can be installed in the sash or frame of our NORDIC windows.
